    THURSDAY AUGUST 21, 2025.

    IT'S IN TRANSIT.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Isaiah 65:24, NLT
“I will answer them before they even call to me.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
Don’t ever put God in a box. Quit worrying because you don’t see any way that something can happen. Perhaps you don’t have the finances, the medical report is not good, or you don’t know the right people to help you. As far as you can see, there’s no chance. God knew what you’d need long before you had the need. He has ways to make it happen that you’ve never thought of, and He knows how to get it to you. He has answers on the way before you have asked. If you could see all the things that are already in transit for you right now, you wouldn’t worry. You wouldn’t live wondering if it’s going to happen, frustrated because you didn’t get what you were hoping for. When it’s your set time on God’s timetable, it’s coming to you. Quit worrying. Get up every morning with the expectancy that it’s in transit. God may not bring you what you thought or in the way you thought, but what He has will be bigger, better, and more rewarding than you ever imagined.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that before I even ask You for my needs and desires, You’ve already lined them up and have them headed my way. Thank You for the people, the favour, and the promotion You’ve ordained to come across my path. I believe that even now answers to my prayers are on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY AUGUST 9, 2025.

    PLANNED LONG AGO.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Jeremiah 29:11, KJV-
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In life, there are times when it looks as though our opponents—the sickness, the depression, the financial loss—are getting the best of us. It’s easy to get discouraged. You can go through life fighting everything that doesn’t go your way, being worried, negative, and upset. Or you can stay in peace, knowing that God is directing your steps, even the detours and the dead ends. You have to remind yourself that the end has been set by God. When it feels as though you’re far behind, outnumbered, outsized, and outclassed, instead of being discouraged, have a new perspective. It’s not the end. The person who betrayed you didn’t stop God’s plan. The setback didn’t change His ending. The negatives in your life don’t have that kind of power. It just means you’re about to see a major comeback. At any moment things are going to shift in your favour. A good break, a healing, a promotion, or a restoration is coming. God has the final say. He has already established the end and will fulfil His purpose.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that in a very insecure world that I can rest in the security of knowing that my end has been set. Thank You for Your plans for my life, plans that are full of hope and an abundant future. I believe that You make everything work out at the right time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    THURSDAY JULY 31, 2025.

    DOORS OF BRONZE.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Isaiah 45:2, ESV-
“I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
Just because a door is shut in your life doesn’t mean that it’s permanent. You may not have seen what you’re believing in yet, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. A door may have been closed for a long time, and it seems as though it’s never going to happen. But God breaks in pieces closed doors, and He can do it supernaturally. You don’t have to struggle and try to make it happen on your own. You just keep honouring God, being your best, and doors of bronze will open for you. Trust His timing. Don’t be impatient because the door hasn’t opened yet. God knows what He’s doing. He sees every injustice, every time you are treated wrong, every person who is playing politics and trying to hold you down. Stay in peace. Your time is coming. The right people are coming. Problems that look permanent are about to turn around. You’re going to see vindication, promotion, healing, breakthroughs, opportunity, and new levels of your destiny. Closed doors can’t keep you from your purpose.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that You are the God who breaks the doors of bronze that have held me back. Thank You for all the great things You have done for me and for all the breakthroughs You are about to give me. I believe that my time is coming and the doors will open. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • When hard work doesn’t speak, connections do.

That’s what favoritism and nepotism do in the workplace:

They silence merit, breed quiet resentment, and reward the “well-connected” over the well-qualified.

    Promotions become predictable.

    Innovation slows down.

Morale? It burns out — fast.

If someone must belong to a clique to belong in the system, you’ve already lost your best people.

Whether it’s a family name, a favourite face, or a strategic alliance — once growth is dictated by who you know, professionalism becomes politics.

    Let’s Talk:

Have you ever lost an opportunity to favouritism?

Should leadership be held accountable for nepotism?

    Can favouritism ever be “harmless”?

  • EVENING TEA
    SUNDAY MAY 11, 2025.

    A DESERT PLACE -

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Isaiah 35:1–2, NIV-
The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.

    TODAY’S WORD:
Experts say that for a desert to see an exceptional bloom of wildflowers, which typically happens only every ten to fifteen years, the conditions have to be just right. The best conditions for a superbloom are a prolonged drought followed by an excessive amount of rain. Both speak of hardship, struggle, damage, and what seems like nothing good, but the dry season and floods make way for the desert to burst into bloom and as Isaiah says, “Shout for joy.” You may be in a desert place right now. You have things that you don’t understand, people have done you wrong, the promotion didn’t go through, you have a medical problem. You’ll be tempted to complain, get discouraged, and bitter. God has not forgotten about you. The drought is a part of His plan. It’s making room for the new things He’s about to do. Stay faithful in the dry season. Yes, the excessive rain is coming and feels like a flood, but seeds of increase, abundance, and new levels are going to take root. A superbloom is coming. Get ready to shout for joy.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for loving me so much that, at times, You take me into a desert place to refine my character and cause me to blossom. Thank You that You’re getting me prepared for the new things You want to do in my life. I will be faithful in the dry seasons. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    WEDNESDAY APRIL 9, 2025.

    PATIENCE -

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Psalm 37:34
Don’t be impatient for the Lord to act! Keep traveling steadily along his pathway and in due season he will honor you with every blessing.

    TODAY’S WORD:
When you’re waiting for a promise from God to come to pass, it’s easy to get frustrated and think, “God, if You’re going to bring this to pass in six months or in two years, why wait? Why don’t You bring the right person, or the healing, or the promotion now?” God knows what He’s doing. If He promoted you before you were ready, you wouldn’t be able to handle it. It would be a burden rather than a blessing. He has to get you prepared for what He has in store. He loves you too much to let it happen too soon. You may have a promise from God in your heart, but you don’t see anything happening. God is using the waiting period to do a work in you. If you pass the test, if you have faith and patience, then you’re growing, your character is developing, your spiritual muscles are getting stronger. To take you to a higher level is going to require more integrity, more discipline, and more commitment. Keep doing the right thing. Your season is coming.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that there is a purpose for times of waiting, whether I understand it or not. Help me to be patient, to keep travelling steadily along Your pathway, to be consistent, knowing that it’s all part of Your process. I believe that what You promised is still en route. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2025.

    PEACE THAT SURPASSES UNDERSTANDING.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Philippians 4:7, ESV
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    TODAY'S WORD:
If you’re going to live in peace, it’s not going to happen by accident. Every day, we have opportunities to get upset, to be worried, to live offended. Life happens. People get on your nerves, unexpected bills come, and a friend is rude. If you wait for all your circumstances to calm down and then you’ll have peace, then you’ll quit worrying, you’ll be waiting your whole life. God never promised to keep us from difficulties. He didn’t say we wouldn’t have storms, but He did say He would give us peace in the midst of the storm. He calls it “a peace that surpasses understanding.” That means in spite of what’s going on around you, you can still be at peace. “The medical report wasn’t good, but I’m not going to worry. I didn’t get the promotion. A colleague was rude to me, but I’m not offended. God is fighting my battles.” You have to protect your peace. You weren’t created to live worried, upset, on edge. You have to turn it over to God and leave it in His hands.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY-
Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to live weighed down by the worry, hurts, offences, and frustrations that creep in and limit my life. Help me to guard my heart and mind and leave issues in Your hands. I declare that I have Your peace that passes understanding. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • MORNING TEA

    TUESDAY JANUARY 21, 2025.

    UNEXPECTED SUNSHINE.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Matthew 6:22, TLB
"If your eye is pure, there will be sunshine in your soul.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
When we have an attitude of faith—we’re positive, hopeful, expecting good things—that pure eye is letting sunshine into our life. But when we go around stressed out, worried, or thinking the clouds over our health or finances are never going to change, that’s stopping the sun. It’s causing more clouds to roll in, more defeat, and more mediocrity. We have to start letting some sunshine into our lives. It doesn’t start with God; it starts with us.

Instead of being discouraged by the dark clouds, our attitude should be, “Any moment this can change. Healing is coming, promotion is coming, the right person is coming, and breakthroughs are coming.” If you want to see the clouds open up, you have to have this expectancy. Shake off the negativity, quit talking about what’s not working out, and turn it around. “God, I know You’re in control of these clouds. They will pass. I believe at any moment I’m going to see that unexpected sunshine.”

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that I walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You that Your power can turn clouded situations around, open the right door, and bring an abundance of unexpected favour. I am living with a sense of expectancy that You are about to bring some unexpected sunshine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • Why Young Professionals Are Ready to Quit Jobs — And What Great Leaders Can Do About It

Dear leaders, here’s a reality check: 65% of young professionals are considering quitting their jobs in search of better pay, belonging, and growth opportunities. With inflation rising and social media flaunting the “good life,” they’re chasing financial stability and fulfillment.

But here’s the truth—your younger employees aren’t lazy or entitled. They’re simply asking for what great leaders should provide: motivation, recognition, and opportunities to grow. If you want to retain and inspire them, it’s time to elevate your leadership game.

    Why Motivating Younger Workers Matters

For Millennials and Gen Z, work is more than a paycheck—it’s tied to their values and identity. They want to feel seen, supported, and included. When they don’t, they’ll leave. Motivated employees bring creativity and energy, but they’ll only thrive in a culture that invests in their growth.

    How to Inspire Younger Workers

    1. Recognize Their Efforts: Publicly celebrate their contributions. A simple “great job” can go a long way.

    2. Provide Growth Opportunities: Show clear career paths through promotions, upskilling, and mentorship.

    3. Foster Belonging: Celebrate diversity, encourage collaboration, and listen to their ideas.

    4. Support Mental Health: Offer flexibility, mental health resources, and work-life harmony.

    5. Align Work with Purpose: Help them see how their efforts impact the company and society.

    6. Be an Authentic Leader: Lead by example with transparency and trustworthiness.

In conclusion, Lead to Inspire. As we enter a new year, remember this: “Leadership is not about being in charge. It’s about taking care of those in your charge.” (Simon Sinek). Younger workers want to be part of organizations that value them as people, not just as employees. They want leaders who inspire them, invest in their growth, and help them find fulfillment in their work.

How will you inspire them to do their best work? Share your thoughts below!
