AFTERNOON TEA☕ WEDNESDAY MAY 7, 2025. DON'T SETTLE IN WHAT IS COMFORTABLE. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 Kings 17:6–7, NLT- The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land. TODAY’S WORD: In order to hide the prophet Elijah from King Ahab, God sent Elijah to a brook where the ravens would feed him and there was water to drink. It was just as God promised, with abundant provision delivered week after week. I’m sure he thought, “It doesn’t get any better than this. God’s favor is on me.” Elijah was comfortable there. But when the brook dried up, God told him to go to the city of Zarephath, where a widow would take care of him. He could have been stubborn and said, “No, I’ve been blessed here. I’m staying in what has been working.” The problem was, the provision ceased. He hadn’t run out of favour. It was a necessary ending. God was moving him into a new level of his destiny. It was at Zarephath that Elijah saw some of the greatest miracles recorded in the Scripture. Don’t fight the things God brings to an end. It’s a necessary ending, so you will step into the new thing He has in store—something that’s bigger, better, more rewarding than you can imagine.

MORNING TEA☕ THURSDAY MAY 8, 2025. YOUR WATER INTO WINE. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: John 2:9–10, NLT- When the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine...he called the bridegroom over. "A host always serves the best wine first," he said... "But you have kept the best until now!" TODAY'S WORD: Making wine normally is a very lengthy process, but to make the best quality wine, a wine that is aged takes years. My point is that the first miracle Jesus ever performed, the making of wine from water at the wedding at Cana, was a miracle of acceleration. What in the natural took many years, He did in a moment of time. You may think it’s going to take years to get well, years to get out of debt, years to accomplish a dream, but don’t rule out the God of acceleration. He has favour, healing, and breakthroughs that can propel you forward. God can take what should take you twenty years and get you there in an instant. Right now, He’s working behind the scenes, gathering the water jars and filling them with water. The process has already started. Suddenly, things are going to change. Suddenly, you’re going to find yourself where you could not go on your own. God knows how to turn your water into wine. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You have the power to take a natural process like making wine and accelerate it in an instant. Thank You that You can take what seems like it could take years to happen and suddenly turn it around for me. I believe that You’re filling the jars with water even now. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ FRIDAY MAY 9, 2025. WHO TOLD YOU THAT? TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 11:3, NIV "But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ." TODAY'S WORD: In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were living confident and secure with God. They knew they had His blessing and favour. But one day, the enemy deceived them into eating the forbidden fruit, and immediately, they were afraid. They ran and hid. When God called out to Adam, “Where are you?” Adam said, “We’re hiding because we’re naked.” God asked, “Who told you that you were naked?” God is asking us today, “Who told you that you’re not good enough? That you’re just average? That you can’t accomplish your dreams?” Those negative thoughts didn’t come from our God. Those lies open the door to fear, insecurity, and shame. They focus on what we’re not, on the mistakes we’ve made, on what other people have said about us. Don’t let the enemy deceive you. You are a child of the Most High God. You are not average or mediocre; you are royalty. Keep your crown on. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You have given me a crown of glory and honour, and even the enemy does not have the power to take it from me. Thank You that I am covered by Your grace and made in Your image. I declare my confidence is in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

EVENING TEA☕ SUNDAY MAY 11, 2025. A DESERT PLACE - TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 35:1–2, NIV- The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. TODAY’S WORD: Experts say that for a desert to see an exceptional bloom of wildflowers, which typically happens only every ten to fifteen years, the conditions have to be just right. The best conditions for a superbloom are a prolonged drought followed by an excessive amount of rain. Both speak of hardship, struggle, damage, and what seems like nothing good, but the dry season and floods make way for the desert to burst into bloom and as Isaiah says, “Shout for joy.” You may be in a desert place right now. You have things that you don’t understand, people have done you wrong, the promotion didn’t go through, you have a medical problem. You’ll be tempted to complain, get discouraged, and bitter. God has not forgotten about you. The drought is a part of His plan. It’s making room for the new things He’s about to do. Stay faithful in the dry season. Yes, the excessive rain is coming and feels like a flood, but seeds of increase, abundance, and new levels are going to take root. A superbloom is coming. Get ready to shout for joy. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for loving me so much that, at times, You take me into a desert place to refine my character and cause me to blossom. Thank You that You’re getting me prepared for the new things You want to do in my life. I will be faithful in the dry seasons. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

AFTERNOON TEA☕ MONDAY MAY 12, 2025. BEHIND THE SCENES. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Ruth 2:16, NLT - "And pull out some heads of barley from the bundles and drop them on purpose for her. Let her pick them up, and don’t give her a hard time!" TODAY'S WORD: Ruth was a young widow who left her home country to take care of her elderly mother-in-law. She was out in the harvested fields, picking up leftover grain, just trying to survive. Boaz, the owner of those fields, spoke to his workers about Ruth, telling them to leave grain on the ground on purpose to make it easier for Ruth. He didn’t speak to Ruth; he spoke about Ruth. She never heard what he said, but she suddenly had more grain than she needed and finished in half the time. All because somebody she didn’t even know put in a good word for her. In the same way, God has already spoken to the right people to be good to you, to show you favour, to open the right doors. As with Ruth, suddenly you come into blessings you didn’t work for. People go out of their way to help you succeed. You may never know why it happened. That’s God working behind the scenes, bringing it all together. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You know every hardship and difficult situation I have faced and will face. I choose to believe that You have more blessings and favour for me than I can dream. I believe that You are working behind the scenes to bring it all together. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ THURSDAY MAY 15, 2025. AS A CHILD. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 18:17, TLB- “For the Kingdom of God belongs to men who have hearts as trusting as these little children’s. And anyone who doesn’t have their kind of faith will never get within the Kingdom’s gates.” TODAY’S WORD: If you ask children if they’d like to go buy a toy at the store, they don’t start debating whether they’re worthy enough. They don’t question whether you mean it or if you have the money to pay for it. No, children just receive the gift happily. They haven’t been contaminated with lies about how they aren’t good enough or have done too many wrong things. But as adults, when we hear about God’s gifts, we start reasoning things out. “I didn’t perform up to par. God’s not going to bless me. I struggle all the time. I don’t feel valuable.” Why don’t you start receiving God’s gifts? God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. He calls you a masterpiece. He knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and approved you. He didn’t approve you based on your performance. He approved you based on the fact that you’re His child, created in His image, crowned with His favour. Now you have to receive that approval. Receive that validation. You’re not ordinary, but a child of the Most High God. PRAYER FOR TODAY - Father, thank You that You approved me before I was formed in my mother’s womb, long before I made my first mistake. Thank You that You approve and love me despite my weaknesses and shortcomings. I declare that I am receiving Your gifts as Your child. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
