AFTERNOON TEA☕ CONNECT WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE. THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2025. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 5:7, NLT - A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking. TODAY’S WORD: In today's Scripture, because Peter obeyed Jesus' instructions to try again after having fished all night and caught nothing, he was blessed with favour and caught so many fish that his net began to tear. But notice that he had so many fish that his partner's boat was also full of fish. When you're connected to someone who's favoured, as they increase, you will increase from their overflow. Some blessings belong to you that are attached to people whom God has put in your life. If you're not seeing any fish, evaluate who you're connected to. You need to disconnect from relationships that are not producing any increase and connect with people who are seeing favour. You need people who are taking new ground, who think and dream bigger than you, and who will expand your vision and thinking for the new things God has in store. Look around and find the favourable connections in your life. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the people whom You've brought into my life to recognise, to respect, and connect with. Help me to be wise and honour them, sow into them, learn from them, and partner with them. I believe that You are taking me higher. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ MONDAY SEPTEMBER 8, 2025. RELATIONSHIPS. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Revelation 3:7, NIV- “These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” TODAY’S WORD: If you don’t understand that God has necessary endings of some relationships, you’ll get upset when they happen. “Why did her friendship fade? Why did he walk away?” God knows what He’s doing. It’s not because you did something wrong or you’ve lost His favor. It’s because a new door is about to open. Without that ending, you wouldn’t discover new friendships and fulfillment greater than you’ve imagined. You wouldn’t meet the divine connection He has for you, somebody better than you ever dreamed. The right attitude is: “God, I trust You. I don’t like what happened, but You wouldn’t have allowed this relationship to cease unless you had better relationships coming.” When God closes a door, you can’t open it. If someone wants to leave, you have to accept that their part in your story is over. Some people are like scaffolding. They come into your life for a season, perhaps to help you get to a certain point. But if they stayed, they would limit your growth. That scaffolding has to come off, so you can rise higher. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You know best when it comes to the people who should be a part of my life. Thank You that You are the doorkeeper and that You’ll lead me to the best relationships. Help me to see that even though the end of a relationship may not feel good, You have great people ahead. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Philippians 3:13, TLB- I am still not all I should be, but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. TODAY’S WORD: Some people say the richest place in the world has to be the diamond mines in South Africa or the Middle Eastern oil fields, but it’s in graveyards. In the graves are buried dreams, books that were never written, songs that were never sung, businesses that were never started, inventions that were never developed, relationships that were never formed. So many people never developed the gifts and talents God entrusted them with. What could you be at this time next year if you got rid of the distractions and things that are not producing good fruit and put all your efforts into the main thing that you know God put in your heart? It may mean taking a class, getting things lined up to start that business, and finding a mentor who can help develop your skills. You may be good at doing many things, but you can’t do many things great. Sometimes we’re too spread out. Paul says, “This one thing I do.” Find that one thing and excel at it. Find that one thing and do it to the best of your ability. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the gifts and talents You have given to me which are unique to my life. Thank You that creating me to develop them and use them to make a difference in the world. I declare that I will focus on that one main thing that You put in my heart and excel at it. TODAY'S WORD: In the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, this young man had taken his father's inheritance and wasted it all on wild living and partying. Pride rose up and tried to keep him from going home, but when he hit bottom working in a hog field, it says "he came to himself"--he got honest with himself, humbled himself, and was willing to admit his mistake--and returned home to a loving father who celebrated his return. Are you letting pride keep you out of the Father's house? Are you worried about what people will think if you humble yourself and admit your mistakes? We've all made mistakes and done things we're not proud of. Don';t let pride hold you back. Pride keeps us from rising higher. The new beginning is in your humility. Healing, restored relationships, open doors, and second chances are in your humility. When you humble yourself, you'll come into that due time when God does more than you can ask or think and thrusts you forward to the next level. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I can humble myself under Your mighty hand and break the pride that keeps me from admitting my weaknesses and mistakes.
