    CONNECT WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE.

    THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 25, 2025.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Luke 5:7, NLT -
A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In today's Scripture, because Peter obeyed Jesus' instructions to try again after having fished all night and caught nothing, he was blessed with favour and caught so many fish that his net began to tear. But notice that he had so many fish that his partner's boat was also full of fish. When you're connected to someone who's favoured, as they increase, you will increase from their overflow.

Some blessings belong to you that are attached to people whom God has put in your life. If you're not seeing any fish, evaluate who you're connected to. You need to disconnect from relationships that are not producing any increase and connect with people who are seeing favour. You need people who are taking new ground, who think and dream bigger than you, and who will expand your vision and thinking for the new things God has in store. Look around and find the favourable connections in your life.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for the people whom You've brought into my life to recognise, to respect, and connect with. Help me to be wise and honour them, sow into them, learn from them, and partner with them. I believe that You are taking me higher. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 5, 2025.

    TAKE THE LIMITS OFF.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Ephesians 2:6-7, AMPC-
"He raised us together with Him…that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favour)"

TODAY'S WORD: Sometimes we think so small. We limit our possibilities and potential. When God sees you, He sees all your potential. God knows what you’re capable of. His grace and favour in your life enable you to become what He sees. But first, you have to open your heart and take the limits off your life.

How do we limit God? We limit God in our thinking. Thoughts of doubt, unbelief and unforgiveness in your heart will close the door to His favour. In Mark 6, it says that Jesus could do no great works in a particular town because of the unbelief of the people. It works the same way today. On the other hand, when you choose thoughts of faith and expectancy, you are opening the door for God to work in your life. You are taking the limits off. You are allowing Him to multiply what you have in your hand. Choose to take the limits off by choosing His thoughts of victory. Choose thoughts of increase and blessing. As you do, you’ll rise higher and higher and live the abundant life He has prepared for you!

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, I choose faith! I choose Your unlimited grace and favour. I choose to believe that You have good things in store for me. You use me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    THURSDAY JUNE 12, 2025.

    RICH IN MERCY.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Ephesians 2:4–5, ESV-
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.

    TODAY’S WORD:
It’s easy to believe that God will bless us when we’re doing what’s right and making good choices. But the beauty of the mercy of God is that even when we make mistakes, when we’ve done the wrong thing, He doesn’t say, “Too bad. You had your chance, but you blew it. Now you’re on your own.” No, His mercy covers you. His mercy is bigger than any mistake. He is not holding that against you. God will not only help bring you out of the trouble, He’ll help clean up the mess and cause something good to come out of it. If this is going to happen, you can’t sit around feeling guilty, condemned, and beating yourself up because of past mistakes. It takes a boldness to believe that God will bless you in spite of what you’ve done. The accuser will say, “You made the mess. You went the wrong way. God’s not going to listen to you. Who do you think you are?” Answer back, “I am a child of the Most High God. I am redeemed, forgiven, and covered by mercy.”

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that You are rich in mercy, and nothing is too hard for You to work out in my life. Thank You that You never give up on me when I’ve gone my own way and failed. Help me to hear Your word and simply believe that You will work wonders for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    MONDAY MAY 12, 2025.

    BEHIND THE SCENES.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Ruth 2:16, NLT -
"And pull out some heads of barley from the bundles and drop them on purpose for her. Let her pick them up, and don’t give her a hard time!"

    TODAY'S WORD:
Ruth was a young widow who left her home country to take care of her elderly mother-in-law. She was out in the harvested fields, picking up leftover grain, just trying to survive. Boaz, the owner of those fields, spoke to his workers about Ruth, telling them to leave grain on the ground on purpose to make it easier for Ruth. He didn’t speak to Ruth; he spoke about Ruth. She never heard what he said, but she suddenly had more grain than she needed and finished in half the time. All because somebody she didn’t even know put in a good word for her. In the same way, God has already spoken to the right people to be good to you, to show you favour, to open the right doors. As with Ruth, suddenly you come into blessings you didn’t work for. People go out of their way to help you succeed. You may never know why it happened. That’s God working behind the scenes, bringing it all together.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that You know every hardship and difficult situation I have faced and will face. I choose to believe that You have more blessings and favour for me than I can dream. I believe that You are working behind the scenes to bring it all together. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    WEDNESDAY MAY 7, 2025.

DON'T SETTLE IN WHAT IS COMFORTABLE.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    1 Kings 17:6–7, NLT-
The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In order to hide the prophet Elijah from King Ahab, God sent Elijah to a brook where the ravens would feed him and there was water to drink. It was just as God promised, with abundant provision delivered week after week. I’m sure he thought, “It doesn’t get any better than this. God’s favor is on me.” Elijah was comfortable there. But when the brook dried up, God told him to go to the city of Zarephath, where a widow would take care of him. He could have been stubborn and said, “No, I’ve been blessed here. I’m staying in what has been working.” The problem was, the provision ceased. He hadn’t run out of favour. It was a necessary ending. God was moving him into a new level of his destiny. It was at Zarephath that Elijah saw some of the greatest miracles recorded in the Scripture. Don’t fight the things God brings to an end. It’s a necessary ending, so you will step into the new thing He has in store—something that’s bigger, better, more rewarding than you can imagine.

    WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2025.

    PEACE THAT SURPASSES UNDERSTANDING.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Philippians 4:7, ESV
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

    TODAY'S WORD:
If you’re going to live in peace, it’s not going to happen by accident. Every day, we have opportunities to get upset, to be worried, to live offended. Life happens. People get on your nerves, unexpected bills come, and a friend is rude. If you wait for all your circumstances to calm down and then you’ll have peace, then you’ll quit worrying, you’ll be waiting your whole life. God never promised to keep us from difficulties. He didn’t say we wouldn’t have storms, but He did say He would give us peace in the midst of the storm. He calls it “a peace that surpasses understanding.” That means in spite of what’s going on around you, you can still be at peace. “The medical report wasn’t good, but I’m not going to worry. I didn’t get the promotion. A colleague was rude to me, but I’m not offended. God is fighting my battles.” You have to protect your peace. You weren’t created to live worried, upset, on edge. You have to turn it over to God and leave it in His hands.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY-
Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to live weighed down by the worry, hurts, offences, and frustrations that creep in and limit my life. Help me to guard my heart and mind and leave issues in Your hands. I declare that I have Your peace that passes understanding. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    TUESDAY FEBRUARY 11, 2025.

    DON'T LET THE POISON IN.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Job 8:22, NKJV-
Those who hate you will be clothed with shame.

    TODAY’S WORD:
It’s easy to get upset and try to set the record straight when someone is talking behind your back, trying to make you look bad, spreading rumours on social media. Some may be saying hurtful, critical things to try to make you feel small, unattractive, and not good enough. Don’t let the negative chatter get inside you. There will always be people who are jealous, envious, bullies, and haters. Not everyone is going to like you or be for you. Some will jump on every fault and treat you badly. Don’t let that poison in. Let it go. If you keep thinking about it, reliving the hurt, dwelling on what they said, it’s going to contaminate your life. You don’t have to defend yourself. God is your vindicator. Keep Him on the throne of your heart, and He will take care of those who try to bring you down. Just run your race and stay focused on your goals. Keep doing the right thing, keep honouring God, stay in peace, and He will protect your reputation and take care of your enemies.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that I can shut the door on the negative that comes against me and keep what You have promised and said about me close to my heart. Thank You that You are my vindicator, and none of these things need to move me. I believe that I will rise above the negatives. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    MONDAY JANUARY 27, 2025.

THE GREATNESS WILL COME OUT -

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Nehemiah 4:14, NIV-
I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
Nehemiah was the cupbearer to the king of Persia before he took up the cause of rebuilding the broken down walls of Jerusalem. He didn’t have wealth, experience, or resources, and when he got to Jerusalem, he faced all kinds of opposition. It was one thing after another. But when you’re cause-driven, when you have a mission, and you stay focused on it, the greatness God put on you is going to come out as it did in Nehemiah. Rather than take years to finish rebuilding the walls, he inspired the people to do it in just fifty-two days.

You can’t make sacrifices to help those around you without God helping you. You’re going to see favour that you’ve never seen. You’re going to come out of ordinary into the uncommon, into resources, influence, and opportunity like you’ve never imagined. You have to find your cause. Live for something bigger than yourself. The greatness in you will come out when you help others, when you build their dreams, when you support advancing the kingdom.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for the plans and purposes that You have for me. Thank You that I can be a part of great causes, both small and big, and see Your favour beyond what I’ve imagined. I believe that the greatness You’ve put in me is going to come out. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    SATURDAY JANUARY 25, 2025.

    THE SUNDAY MORNING BOX.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Psalm 63:1-
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.

    TODAY’S WORD -
David is thought to have written Psalm 63 in the isolation of the wilderness during the difficult years when King Saul was trying to kill him. He used that time to seek God, to draw close to God with his whole being. One thing about being isolated is that not having a lot of people to give your attention to, you can turn your attention toward your Heavenly Father. It’s an opportunity to learn to talk to Him and get to know Him. It’s a time to develop a deeper relationship where He’s not just a Sunday morning God, but all through the day, in your thoughts, you talk to God as you’d talk to a friend. God will be as involved in your life as much as you want Him to be. If you keep Him in a Sunday morning box, He’ll stay there. But He wants to be so much more than that. Sometimes, with all the busyness of life, with all the people and the activities, we don’t make time for God. That’s a mistake. Make sure you keep Him first place.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that I can seek You with my whole heart, knowing that I will surely find You. Thank You that I can live my life passionately, with a desire to go deeper with You. I declare that You are far more to me than a Sunday morning God. You are my God every moment of the day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I can seek You with my whole heart, knowing that I will surely find You. Thank You that I can live my life passionately, with a desire to go deeper with You. I declare that You are far more to me than a Sunday morning God. You are my God every moment of the day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
