TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Daniel 3:25, NKJV- “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” TODAY’S WORD: In Daniel 3, three Hebrew teenagers were thrown into the fiery furnace because they wouldn’t bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol. Surrounded by intense fire, they should have died instantly. But the God who created fire and controls the universe, the fourth man, had the final say. He was right there in the fire with them, surrounding them with His protection. You may feel like you’re in the fire today. Things have come against you. What’s surrounding you may look powerful, strong, insurmountable. The good news is, our God is all-powerful. That sickness may look like the end, but when God says “live,” you’ll live. That addiction may seem permanent, and thoughts tell you that you’re never going to break it. But God is saying, “You’re not staying in that fire.” That addiction is not how your story ends. The fourth man is about to show up, and things are about to turn in your favour. What you thought was going to stop you is going to promote you instead. No matter what surrounds you, keep the right perspective. God has it surrounded. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that when I am surrounded with challenges, I can stay in peace knowing that You are surrounding me. This one thing I know: God is for me! TODAY’S WORD: You may feel like the underdog today, and that the odds seem like they’re against you. When the obstacles look bigger, stronger, and more powerful, don’t worry. Since God is for you, that means the odds are for you. Don’t go through life thinking, “I come from the wrong family. The odds are against me.” No, turn it around. “I’ve been born into a new family. My Heavenly Father controls the universe. He is a supernatural God. He parts the Red Seas. He turns water into wine. He opens the eyes of the blind.” You and God are a majority. You don’t need everyone to be for you. You don’t have to have all the support and encouragement. You have the One who matters. The Most High God is breathing in your direction. Don’t let the odds discourage you. Don’t let what you think is not going to happen talk you out of believing. Even if the odds are zero in a million, all God has to do is speak and the odds change in your favour. All through the day, say, “The odds are for me.” PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I am not on my own, I am not an underdog, and I am equipped for whatever I am facing. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 1:11, ESV- In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will. TODAY’S WORD: I hope that you know how much your life matters today, how important you are to God. He thought you were so valuable that He took time to plan all of your days before you were born. You have a divine assignment. When the Scripture says that “He’s working all things according to the counsel of His will,” that means He has the final say. He says His plans for you are for good. He says He will do exceeding abundantly above all you can imagine. Now keep Him in first place. Keep honouring Him and doing the right thing when it’s hard. Don’t try to figure everything out. He’s doing things that you may not understand right now. It might not make sense in the moment, but if you stay in faith, you’ll see what God is up to. If you have to know everything, you’re going to be frustrated. Leave it in His hands. “God, I don’t understand what You’re doing, but I trust You. I know You’re in control. I know that You’re moving me toward my purpose for being here. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for Your promise that You will work out Your plans for my life according to Your will. Thank You that I can stay in peace knowing that You are working behind the scenes and directing the outcomes. Help me to be patient and know that You are bringing me into my purpose. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Lamentations 3:21-23 "But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." TODAY’S WORD: We all have opportunities that we’ve missed and times when we failed. We knew God’s calling was on our lives. He’d given us a dream, a great spouse to love, a door had opened, but we let distractions and compromise get us off course. We look back and think, “What could I have become if I had been more disciplined, controlled my temper, finished school, or forgiven that person?” It’s easy to live in regrets and think our life is limited because of past choices. We knew better if only we’d done better. The good news is that God is the God of another chance. He’s full of mercy. He knew the times when you’d fail, shrink back, and compromise. When we don’t deserve it, He steps in and says, “I’m giving you another chance to have a great relationship, to accomplish the dream, to step into your purpose. It’s not too late.” You haven’t made too many mistakes. God’s calling is still on your life. He never changes His mind. He doesn’t disqualify you. Now don’t disqualify yourself. Receive His mercy. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning and for Your great faithfulness to me. Thank You that I can start every day new, rejoicing and expecting a great day. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:22, TLB "If your eye is pure, there will be sunshine in your soul.” TODAY’S WORD: When we have an attitude of faith—we’re positive, hopeful, expecting good things—that pure eye is letting sunshine into our life. But when we go around stressed out, worried, or thinking the clouds over our health or finances are never going to change, that’s stopping the sun. It’s causing more clouds to roll in, more defeat, and more mediocrity. We have to start letting some sunshine into our lives. It doesn’t start with God; it starts with us. Instead of being discouraged by the dark clouds, our attitude should be, “Any moment this can change. Healing is coming, promotion is coming, the right person is coming, and breakthroughs are coming.” If you want to see the clouds open up, you have to have this expectancy. Shake off the negativity, quit talking about what’s not working out, and turn it around. “God, I know You’re in control of these clouds. They will pass. I believe at any moment I’m going to see that unexpected sunshine.” PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You that Your power can turn clouded situations around, open the right door, and bring an abundance of unexpected favour.
