    SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2025.

    DO IT IN ADVANCE.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Genesis 12:8, NLT-
There, he built another altar and dedicated it to the LORD, and he worshipped the LORD.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In Genesis 12, God told Abraham that he was going to become the father of many nations, that his descendants would own all the land, that he was going to be blessed and become a great blessing. When Abraham heard this incredible promise, he built an altar and worshipped the Lord. What’s interesting is that the promise hadn’t come to pass. He wasn’t a father, and his wife, Sarah, was barren. He didn’t own any land. Yet he built an altar simply to thank God for what He promised. This is showing us a principle. Don’t wait for the promise to come to pass. Thank God in advance for what He said He would do for you. “God, You said my children will be mighty in the land.” Your child might be running with the wrong crowd, but build your altar now. Thank God before you see the promise. That’s what faith is all about. When God sees your altar, when He hears you thanking Him, praising Him, declaring His goodness, that’s when doors will open, healing will come, and favour is released.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that my faith and trust are anchored to You and the promises in Your Word. Thank You that I don’t have to be moved by the tests and troubles I face because I am fully persuaded You will do what You promised. I declare that my hope is in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20, 2025.

    STRENGTH THROUGH CONNECTION.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Psalm 92:13, NKJV-
Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

    TODAY’S WORD:
California’s magnificent redwood trees can reach heights of 350 feet and live for 2,000 years. They’re incredibly resilient, withstanding strong winds, storms, and pests that take other trees down. What’s interesting is that their roots are only six to twelve feet deep. The only way the shallow roots can hold up these massive trees is that the roots spread out 100 feet and intertwine with other redwoods’ roots. Against the storms, the whole redwood forest is linked together and stands strong. Storms may be blowing against you today in your health, your finances, a relationship, trying to push you down, telling you it’s never going to work out, that you have too many obstacles. When you’re planted in a community of faith, your faith gets connected with others’ faith. Before long, you have a support system that cannot be shaken. When the storms come, what would have normally blown you over if you were alone can’t move you. You have others who steady you, encourage you, and uphold you. When we’re all connected, together we can’t be defeated. Together we’re powerful.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for the strength and support system I have when I’m connected to others. Thank You that I can be planted in Your house and that my faith can be joined to others’ faith. Help me to get plugged in and see faith grow and become powerful. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

    TUESDAY AUGUST 12, 2025.

    ROYALTY.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Revelation 5:10, NKJV-
“And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
In 2 Samuel 4, after King Saul and his son Jonathan had been killed in battle, Saul’s little grandson, Mephibosheth, was fleeing for his life when he suffered a tragic fall and was disabled, unable to walk. He went from the palace to barely surviving, living in exile in a poor, run-down city named Lo Debar. But the change in his circumstances did not change the fact that he was royalty. Years later, King David brought him back to the palace to live as royalty and restored his family’s land. The Scripture says that God has made us kings. You may feel like you’re living in Lo Debar today, with difficulties coming against you. That’s where you are, but that’s not who you are. Nothing you’ve been through has changed your royal identity. No person who did you wrong, no bad break, and no mistake you’ve made has changed your name. You are still a child of the King of kings with royal blood in your veins. He is about to pick you up, breathe new life into your dreams, and propel you toward your destiny.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for loving me and looking for me because You want me to have all that belongs to me as Your child. Thank You that You see me as royalty no matter what my circumstances look like, even when I’ve failed. I declare that I am becoming more and more like who You say I am. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY AUGUST 9, 2025.

    PLANNED LONG AGO.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Jeremiah 29:11, KJV-
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In life, there are times when it looks as though our opponents—the sickness, the depression, the financial loss—are getting the best of us. It’s easy to get discouraged. You can go through life fighting everything that doesn’t go your way, being worried, negative, and upset. Or you can stay in peace, knowing that God is directing your steps, even the detours and the dead ends. You have to remind yourself that the end has been set by God. When it feels as though you’re far behind, outnumbered, outsized, and outclassed, instead of being discouraged, have a new perspective. It’s not the end. The person who betrayed you didn’t stop God’s plan. The setback didn’t change His ending. The negatives in your life don’t have that kind of power. It just means you’re about to see a major comeback. At any moment things are going to shift in your favour. A good break, a healing, a promotion, or a restoration is coming. God has the final say. He has already established the end and will fulfil His purpose.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that in a very insecure world that I can rest in the security of knowing that my end has been set. Thank You for Your plans for my life, plans that are full of hope and an abundant future. I believe that You make everything work out at the right time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • EVENING TEA

    THURSDAY MAY 1, 2025.

    HAPPY WORKERS' DAY.

    ADMIT THE TRUTH.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    1 Peter 5:6, NIV -
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

    TODAY'S WORD:
In the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, this young man had taken his father's inheritance and wasted it all on wild living and partying. Pride rose up and tried to keep him from going home, but when he hit bottom working in a hog field, it says "he came to himself"--he got honest with himself, humbled himself, and was willing to admit his mistake--and returned home to a loving father who celebrated his return.

Are you letting pride keep you out of the Father's house? Are you worried about what people will think if you humble yourself and admit your mistakes? We've all made mistakes and done things we're not proud of. Don';t let pride hold you back. Pride keeps us from rising higher. The new beginning is in your humility. Healing, restored relationships, open doors, and second chances are in your humility. When you humble yourself, you'll come into that due time when God does more than you can ask or think and thrusts you forward to the next level.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that I can humble myself under Your mighty hand and break the pride that keeps me from admitting my weaknesses and mistakes. Thank You that Your power goes to work in me when I humbly admit that I don't have it all together. I believe that You will lift me up at the right time. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

  • Happy post-Easter Tuesday! The holiday is over. Time to return to the work groove — and hope you truly rested?

    What if Your Resignation Letter

    weres from Your Mental Health”?

    Imagine this:

Your mental health writes you a resignation letter today.

    It says:

    “Dear [Your Name],

I’ve tried to hold on, but I can no longer work under this pressure.

You no longer listen to me, respect me, or give me rest.

You reward burnout, glorify busyness, and ignore my breaking points.

    Effective immediately, I resign.”

    Let that sink in.

Many professionals are functioning, but barely.

They look “fine,” but they’re falling apart in silence.

    Let’s talk:

If your mental health could speak, what would it say about your current work life?

What practical thing do you think employers or employees can do to protect mental health without hurting productivity?

Let’s build workspaces where humans aren’t breaking to look “busy.”

  • Dear Workaholics, This One’s for you!

The weekend is approaching, but guess what? Your body doesn’t have a replaceable version like your job does!

If you drop today due to stress, the company won’t post a “vacancy for a replacement liver or kidney”—just a new job listing. So, before you burn out, do yourself a favor:

Sleep like your job depends on it (because your health does!).

    Rest without guilt—emails can wait.

Unwind and breathe—your laptop will still be there on Monday.

Get a total body check-up—better safe than sorry!

Your life is priceless. Health is wealth! Take care.

  • EVENING TEA

    FRIDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2025.

    HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.

LOVE CAN'T BE ON AUTOPILOT -

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Ephesians 5:31, NIV -
For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

    TODAY’S WORD:
It's easy to go on autopilot in a relationship, especially in your marriage, but it's not a one-time thing. It takes a lifetime to "become one." That's because the person you married at twenty is not the same person at thirty or fifty. You can't put your love on autopilot. You have to adapt, adjust, and recognize what their different needs are as they change, mature, and develop new interests. You can't treat them the same way. That's why some people break up. They're not bad people; they've just grown apart. They didn't change. They slept in the same bed, but they didn't stay connected.

You haven't discovered all the treasures in the person God gave you to love. You've seen one stage, but they're going to blossom into new stages. Are you taking time to laugh together, to go on dates, to do new things? Are you keeping joy in your relationship? Are you keeping tension and strife out? Is it time to get plugged back in? God put you together, so stay one.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for every relationship that You have given me, and especially for my spouse. Help me to keep the joy and laughter and freshness in our marriage and never turn my love on autopilot. I commit my heart and soul to staying connected and one. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
