The potter takes a lump of clay and spins it on his wheel. The clay could say, "I'm tired of going in circles. Let me off this wheel." TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 2:6-7, AMPC- "He raised us together with Him…that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favour)" TODAY'S WORD: Sometimes we think so small. We limit our possibilities and potential. When God sees you, He sees all your potential. God knows what you’re capable of. His grace and favour in your life enable you to become what He sees. But first, you have to open your heart and take the limits off your life. How do we limit God? We limit God in our thinking. Thoughts of doubt, unbelief and unforgiveness in your heart will close the door to His favour. In Mark 6, it says that Jesus could do no great works in a particular town because of the unbelief of the people. It works the same way today. On the other hand, when you choose thoughts of faith and expectancy, you are opening the door for God to work in your life. You are taking the limits off. You are allowing Him to multiply what you have in your hand. Choose to take the limits off by choosing His thoughts of victory. Choose thoughts of increase and blessing. MORNING TEA☕ WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20, 2025. STRENGTH THROUGH CONNECTION. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 92:13, NKJV- Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. TODAY’S WORD: California’s magnificent redwood trees can reach heights of 350 feet and live for 2,000 years. They’re incredibly resilient, withstanding strong winds, storms, and pests that take other trees down. What’s interesting is that their roots are only six to twelve feet deep. The only way the shallow roots can hold up these massive trees is that the roots spread out 100 feet and intertwine with other redwoods’ roots. Against the storms, the whole redwood forest is linked together and stands strong. Storms may be blowing against you today in your health, your finances, a relationship, trying to push you down, telling you it’s never going to work out, that you have too many obstacles. When you’re planted in a community of faith, your faith gets connected with others’ faith. Before long, you have a support system that cannot be shaken. When the storms come, what would have normally blown you over if you were alone can’t move you. You have others who steady you, encourage you, and uphold you. When we’re all connected, together we can’t be defeated. Together we’re powerful. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the strength and support system I have when I’m connected to others. Thank You that I can be planted in Your house and that my faith can be joined to others’ faith. Help me to get plugged in and see faith grow and become powerful. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

TODAY’S WORD: Too many people go through life feeling wrong inside. They get up every morning and take inventory of their faults and weaknesses. There’s nothing the enemy would love more than for you to go through life focused on your failures, how you don’t measure up, being against yourself. Don’t fall into that trap. When he whispers those condemning thoughts, “You blew your diet. You were late to work. You lost your temper. You gave in to that temptation,” just remind yourself that you are not a finished product. You may have some things wrong with you, but you have a lot more right with you. Learn to celebrate who you are and not beat yourself up because of who you’re not. God is changing you from glory to glory. You don’t have to be a finished product before you feel good about yourself. The more you give God thanks for what He’s done, the more He releases strength, favour, and new levels. Keep honouring God, being your best, and He’ll get you to where you’re supposed to be. TODAY’S WORD: In life, there are times when it looks as though our opponents—the sickness, the depression, the financial loss—are getting the best of us. It’s easy to get discouraged. You can go through life fighting everything that doesn’t go your way, being worried, negative, and upset. Or you can stay in peace, knowing that God is directing your steps, even the detours and the dead ends. You have to remind yourself that the end has been set by God. When it feels as though you’re far behind, outnumbered, outsized, and outclassed, instead of being discouraged, have a new perspective. It’s not the end. The person who betrayed you didn’t stop God’s plan. The setback didn’t change His ending. The negatives in your life don’t have that kind of power. It just means you’re about to see a major comeback. At any moment things are going to shift in your favour. A good break, a healing, a promotion, or a restoration is coming. God has the final say. He has already established the end and will fulfil His purpose. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that in a very insecure world that I can rest in the security of knowing that my end has been set. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Acts 20:24, NKJV- “But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy.” TODAY'S WORD: It’s great when feelings assist us, when we feel hopeful, positive, and encouraged. But you can’t depend on those feelings because they come and go. Feelings can lead you astray. If you’re only going to have a good mood if things go your way, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. That’s surface living. You have to go deeper and say as Paul did, “None of these things move me. I’m not going to let other people, delays, or what doesn’t work out sour my day.” In other words, turn it over to God. You’re not supposed to go through life carrying around worries, stress, disappointments, and discouragement. Yes, you have some negative feelings, but you don’t have to let the feelings have you. You may feel upset, but you don’t have to act on it. You may feel offended, but you don’t have to take the offence. You may feel discouraged, but you can override it with thoughts that are full of faith, hope, and expectancy. Get your mind going in a new direction and choose to have a good mood. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I can shut the door on the negative feelings that come against me and keep what You have promised and said about me close to my heart.
