MORNING TEA☕ WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2025. WHY ME? - TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 23:26, NIV- As the soldiers led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. TODAY’S WORD: Simon was from Cyrene, a city in North Africa. He was a foreigner, a stranger just travelling through who suddenly found himself carrying Jesus’ cross. He didn’t know who Jesus was. He didn’t know he would be chosen to be a part of history. God could have chosen one of Jesus’ disciples to be with Him in His final, critical moments. But He purposefully chose a stranger who didn’t look like he belonged. Simon could have tried to refuse, but I can imagine that deep down, he heard a voice whispering, “I know you’re a stranger, but you’ve been chosen. This is your moment.” Simon accepted the calling and stepped into a destiny greater than he ever dreamed. This is the beauty of our God. While we were yet strangers, while we were far off, God in His great mercy chose us. He didn’t choose you based on your performance; He chose you based on His love. Simon had no history with Jesus, but God had a divine purpose for his life. Who knows where God will take you if you simply answer His call. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and You chose me and set me apart for Your own purpose. Thank You that Your call is based completely on Your love for me and not my performance. I am saying yes to Your call and to carrying the cross You have for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2025. TUNE OUT, TUNE IN. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 125:4, NLT- O LORD, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you. TODAY’S WORD: David was careful about who he allowed in his ear. When Samuel came to choose the next king, David’s father didn’t believe enough in him to call him in from the shepherds’ fields. Feeling the sting of rejection, he could have let his father’s opinion of him cause him to be insecure and intimidated. David’s oldest brother, Eliab, tried to make him feel small, as if he wasn’t up to par. When David told King Saul he wanted to fight Goliath, Saul said, “Don’t be ridiculous! You’re just a boy.” If David had listened to those voices, we wouldn’t be talking about him. The enemy would love to use people to discourage you, to talk you out of your dreams, to convince you to live intimidated by giants. But you wouldn’t be facing a giant if you weren’t already equipped to defeat it. If that obstacle was too big, God wouldn’t have put you there. Tune out those negative voices. Tune in to what God says about you. You’re a giant killer, a history maker, a barrier breaker. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I am not limited by what the people around me say or think about me. Thank You that You have equipped me to do what You have destined me to do. I will not allow others to get in my ear and put a limitation on what You have put in my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ HAPPY NEW MONTH. MONDAY SEPTEMBER 1, 2025. FINISHED WITH FEAR. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: 2 Timothy 1:7, NLT- For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. TODAY'S WORD: So many people today are missing out on God’s abundant joy, peace and victory because they keep giving in to a spirit of fear. They are afraid to make a decision, afraid to confront issues, afraid to step out in faith, afraid of the past, and afraid of the future! But we don’t have to live that way. Always remember, fear is not from God. God has given you power, and His power is greater than any other power in the universe! You have to decide to confront and conquer fear head-on with the Word of God. His Word is truth that sets you free! You can’t be passive and expect to live in victory. The next time you feel fear, declare today’s verse in 2 Timothy 1:7. Tell fear it has to go and walk in freedom. Sing a song of praise and declare that God is empowering you. Focus on Him, find freedom, and move boldly into the blessing He has prepared for you! PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for giving me power to overcome fear. I choose to face fear head-on and drive it out of my life. Show me any areas of my life where fear is holding me back so that I can press forward into the life of victory You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

MORNING TEA ☕ WEDNESDAY AUGUST 13, 2025. CELEBRATE WHO YOU ARE. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Philippians 1:6, MSG- There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears. TODAY’S WORD: Too many people go through life feeling wrong inside. They get up every morning and take inventory of their faults and weaknesses. There’s nothing the enemy would love more than for you to go through life focused on your failures, how you don’t measure up, being against yourself. Don’t fall into that trap. When he whispers those condemning thoughts, “You blew your diet. You were late to work. You lost your temper. You gave in to that temptation,” just remind yourself that you are not a finished product. You may have some things wrong with you, but you have a lot more right with you. Learn to celebrate who you are and not beat yourself up because of who you’re not. God is changing you from glory to glory. You don’t have to be a finished product before you feel good about yourself. The more you give God thanks for what He’s done, the more He releases strength, favour, and new levels. Keep honouring God, being your best, and He’ll get you to where you’re supposed to be. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the good work You’re doing in my life, and I am convinced that You will keep developing and bringing it to full completion. Thank You that I can be free from the enemy’s condemnation. I declare that I will not be moved from believing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

EVENING TEA☕ MONDAY AUGUST 11, 2025. THE POWER OF ONE KIND WORD. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 18:4, NLT "Wise words are like deep waters; wisdom flows from the wise like a bubbling brook." TODAY’S WORD: People are thirsty. People have gone through heartache. They’ve been pushed down by life. When we think of healing for them, we may think of praying for them, but we need to realise that our words have healing power, like life-giving water. When you’re kind, when you’re encouraging, when you don’t just think something good but you take time to verbalise it, you’re being a healer. We don’t realise the power of one kind word, the power of a simple compliment, the power of “I believe in you. You’re going to make it. Great things are in store.” Your words may seem ordinary to you, but when God breathes life into them, they become extraordinary to the other person. Somebody needs your healing words today. Somebody won’t get past the depression without you speaking blessings into them. Somebody will give up on their dream unless you step up and encourage them. Will you be a healer today? Will you use your words to lift people? PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the people You have placed in my life. I want to love them like You do. Thank You for transforming my ordinary words into life-giving water for others. I believe that You are making me into a lifter, an encourager, a healer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

You’re not a servant striving for approval—you’re a child already deeply loved. The joy isn’t in how much you do, but in how closely you walk with Him. AFTERNOON TEA☕ THURSDAY JUNE 12, 2025. RICH IN MERCY. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 2:4–5, ESV- But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. TODAY’S WORD: It’s easy to believe that God will bless us when we’re doing what’s right and making good choices. But the beauty of the mercy of God is that even when we make mistakes, when we’ve done the wrong thing, He doesn’t say, “Too bad. You had your chance, but you blew it. Now you’re on your own.” No, His mercy covers you. His mercy is bigger than any mistake. He is not holding that against you. God will not only help bring you out of the trouble, He’ll help clean up the mess and cause something good to come out of it. If this is going to happen, you can’t sit around feeling guilty, condemned, and beating yourself up because of past mistakes. It takes a boldness to believe that God will bless you in spite of what you’ve done. The accuser will say, “You made the mess. You went the wrong way. God’s not going to listen to you. Who do you think you are?” Answer back, “I am a child of the Most High God. I am redeemed, forgiven, and covered by mercy.” PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You are rich in mercy, and nothing is too hard for You to work out in my life. Thank You that You never give up on me when I’ve gone my own way and failed. Help me to hear Your word and simply believe that You will work wonders for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ THURSDAY MAY 15, 2025. AS A CHILD. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Luke 18:17, TLB- “For the Kingdom of God belongs to men who have hearts as trusting as these little children’s. And anyone who doesn’t have their kind of faith will never get within the Kingdom’s gates.” TODAY’S WORD: If you ask children if they’d like to go buy a toy at the store, they don’t start debating whether they’re worthy enough. They don’t question whether you mean it or if you have the money to pay for it. No, children just receive the gift happily. They haven’t been contaminated with lies about how they aren’t good enough or have done too many wrong things. But as adults, when we hear about God’s gifts, we start reasoning things out. “I didn’t perform up to par. God’s not going to bless me. I struggle all the time. I don’t feel valuable.” Why don’t you start receiving God’s gifts? God says you are fearfully and wonderfully made. He calls you a masterpiece. He knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb and approved you. He didn’t approve you based on your performance. He approved you based on the fact that you’re His child, created in His image, crowned with His favour. Now you have to receive that approval. Receive that validation. You’re not ordinary, but a child of the Most High God. PRAYER FOR TODAY - Father, thank You that You approved me before I was formed in my mother’s womb, long before I made my first mistake. Thank You that You approve and love me despite my weaknesses and shortcomings. I declare that I am receiving Your gifts as Your child. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ WEDNESDAY APRIL 9, 2025. PATIENCE - TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 37:34 Don’t be impatient for the Lord to act! Keep traveling steadily along his pathway and in due season he will honor you with every blessing. TODAY’S WORD: When you’re waiting for a promise from God to come to pass, it’s easy to get frustrated and think, “God, if You’re going to bring this to pass in six months or in two years, why wait? Why don’t You bring the right person, or the healing, or the promotion now?” God knows what He’s doing. If He promoted you before you were ready, you wouldn’t be able to handle it. It would be a burden rather than a blessing. He has to get you prepared for what He has in store. He loves you too much to let it happen too soon. You may have a promise from God in your heart, but you don’t see anything happening. God is using the waiting period to do a work in you. If you pass the test, if you have faith and patience, then you’re growing, your character is developing, your spiritual muscles are getting stronger. To take you to a higher level is going to require more integrity, more discipline, and more commitment. Keep doing the right thing. Your season is coming. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that there is a purpose for times of waiting, whether I understand it or not. Help me to be patient, to keep travelling steadily along Your pathway, to be consistent, knowing that it’s all part of Your process. I believe that what You promised is still en route. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
