AFTERNOON TEA ☕ WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2025. PEACE THAT SURPASSES UNDERSTANDING. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Philippians 4:7, ESV And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. TODAY'S WORD: If you’re going to live in peace, it’s not going to happen by accident. Every day, we have opportunities to get upset, to be worried, to live offended. Life happens. People get on your nerves, unexpected bills come, and a friend is rude. If you wait for all your circumstances to calm down and then you’ll have peace, then you’ll quit worrying, you’ll be waiting your whole life. God never promised to keep us from difficulties. He didn’t say we wouldn’t have storms, but He did say He would give us peace in the midst of the storm. He calls it “a peace that surpasses understanding.” That means in spite of what’s going on around you, you can still be at peace. “The medical report wasn’t good, but I’m not going to worry. I didn’t get the promotion. A colleague was rude to me, but I’m not offended. God is fighting my battles.” You have to protect your peace. You weren’t created to live worried, upset, on edge. You have to turn it over to God and leave it in His hands. PRAYER FOR TODAY- Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to live weighed down by the worry, hurts, offences, and frustrations that creep in and limit my life. Help me to guard my heart and mind and leave issues in Your hands. I declare that I have Your peace that passes understanding. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

EVENING TEA☕ FRIDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2025. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY. LOVE CAN'T BE ON AUTOPILOT - TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 5:31, NIV - For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. TODAY’S WORD: It's easy to go on autopilot in a relationship, especially in your marriage, but it's not a one-time thing. It takes a lifetime to "become one." That's because the person you married at twenty is not the same person at thirty or fifty. You can't put your love on autopilot. You have to adapt, adjust, and recognize what their different needs are as they change, mature, and develop new interests. You can't treat them the same way. That's why some people break up. They're not bad people; they've just grown apart. They didn't change. They slept in the same bed, but they didn't stay connected. You haven't discovered all the treasures in the person God gave you to love. You've seen one stage, but they're going to blossom into new stages. Are you taking time to laugh together, to go on dates, to do new things? Are you keeping joy in your relationship? Are you keeping tension and strife out? Is it time to get plugged back in? God put you together, so stay one. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for every relationship that You have given me, and especially for my spouse. Help me to keep the joy and laughter and freshness in our marriage and never turn my love on autopilot. I commit my heart and soul to staying connected and one. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ SATURDAY FEBRUARY 15, 2025. EXTRAORDINARY SEED. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Galatians 6:7, NKJV Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. TODAY’S WORD: Every time you’re obedient to what God says, you’re sowing a seed. When it’s difficult, when you don’t understand it, when you’re uncomfortable, but you do it any way, you’re sowing an extraordinary seed. You’re going to reap an extraordinary harvest. When He asks you to walk away from a friend who’s pulling you down or to give up a bad habit that’s ruining your health, He’s not trying to take something from you. He’s trying to get something better to you. When He asks you to forgive someone who hurt you, He’ll give you beauty for ashes and make you whole. When He shows you to take a step of faith when you don’t feel qualified, He’ll give you a new beginning. Don’t try to figure it out, don’t overanalyze it, just do what you know God’s asking you to do. The obedience activates God’s power. If you trust Him and do what you know you need to do, you’ll reap a new level of your destiny. When you sow that extraordinary seed, you’re going to see God’s favour in extraordinary ways. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for speaking through Your Word and for giving me an inner ear to know right from wrong and what the best path is. Help me to be sensitive to Your still small voice, to hear it with clarity, and to be quick to obey. I believe that I will reap an extraordinary harvest when I obey. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
