MORNING TEA☕ WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2025. TUNE OUT, TUNE IN. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 125:4, NLT- O LORD, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you. TODAY’S WORD: David was careful about who he allowed in his ear. When Samuel came to choose the next king, David’s father didn’t believe enough in him to call him in from the shepherds’ fields. Feeling the sting of rejection, he could have let his father’s opinion of him cause him to be insecure and intimidated. David’s oldest brother, Eliab, tried to make him feel small, as if he wasn’t up to par. When David told King Saul he wanted to fight Goliath, Saul said, “Don’t be ridiculous! You’re just a boy.” If David had listened to those voices, we wouldn’t be talking about him. The enemy would love to use people to discourage you, to talk you out of your dreams, to convince you to live intimidated by giants. But you wouldn’t be facing a giant if you weren’t already equipped to defeat it. If that obstacle was too big, God wouldn’t have put you there. Tune out those negative voices. Tune in to what God says about you. You’re a giant killer, a history maker, a barrier breaker. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I am not limited by what the people around me say or think about me. Thank You that You have equipped me to do what You have destined me to do. I will not allow others to get in my ear and put a limitation on what You have put in my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

MORNING TEA☕ MONDAY AUGUST 25, 2025. THE ONE THING. TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Philippians 3:13, TLB- I am still not all I should be, but I am bringing all my energies to bear on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. TODAY’S WORD: Some people say the richest place in the world has to be the diamond mines in South Africa or the Middle Eastern oil fields, but it’s in graveyards. In the graves are buried dreams, books that were never written, songs that were never sung, businesses that were never started, inventions that were never developed, relationships that were never formed. So many people never developed the gifts and talents God entrusted them with. What could you be at this time next year if you got rid of the distractions and things that are not producing good fruit and put all your efforts into the main thing that you know God put in your heart? It may mean taking a class, getting things lined up to start that business, and finding a mentor who can help develop your skills. You may be good at doing many things, but you can’t do many things great. Sometimes we’re too spread out. Paul says, “This one thing I do.” Find that one thing and excel at it. Find that one thing and do it to the best of your ability. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You for the gifts and talents You have given to me which are unique to my life. Thank You that creating me to develop them and use them to make a difference in the world. I declare that I will focus on that one main thing that You put in my heart and excel at it. AFTERNOON TEA☕ MONDAY MAY 12, 2025. BEHIND THE SCENES. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Ruth 2:16, NLT - "And pull out some heads of barley from the bundles and drop them on purpose for her. Let her pick them up, and don’t give her a hard time!" TODAY'S WORD: Ruth was a young widow who left her home country to take care of her elderly mother-in-law. She was out in the harvested fields, picking up leftover grain, just trying to survive. Boaz, the owner of those fields, spoke to his workers about Ruth, telling them to leave grain on the ground on purpose to make it easier for Ruth. He didn’t speak to Ruth; he spoke about Ruth. She never heard what he said, but she suddenly had more grain than she needed and finished in half the time. All because somebody she didn’t even know put in a good word for her. In the same way, God has already spoken to the right people to be good to you, to show you favour, to open the right doors. As with Ruth, suddenly you come into blessings you didn’t work for. People go out of their way to help you succeed. You may never know why it happened. That’s God working behind the scenes, bringing it all together. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that You know every hardship and difficult situation I have faced and will face. I choose to believe that You have more blessings and favour for me than I can dream. I believe that You are working behind the scenes to bring it all together. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

EVENING TEA☕ THURSDAY MAY 1, 2025. HAPPY WORKERS' DAY. ADMIT THE TRUTH. TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 5:6, NIV - Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. TODAY'S WORD: In the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15, this young man had taken his father's inheritance and wasted it all on wild living and partying. Pride rose up and tried to keep him from going home, but when he hit bottom working in a hog field, it says "he came to himself"--he got honest with himself, humbled himself, and was willing to admit his mistake--and returned home to a loving father who celebrated his return. Are you letting pride keep you out of the Father's house? Are you worried about what people will think if you humble yourself and admit your mistakes? We've all made mistakes and done things we're not proud of. Don';t let pride hold you back. Pride keeps us from rising higher. The new beginning is in your humility. Healing, restored relationships, open doors, and second chances are in your humility. When you humble yourself, you'll come into that due time when God does more than you can ask or think and thrusts you forward to the next level. PRAYER FOR TODAY: Father, thank You that I can humble myself under Your mighty hand and break the pride that keeps me from admitting my weaknesses and mistakes. Thank You that Your power goes to work in me when I humbly admit that I don't have it all together. I believe that You will lift me up at the right time. In Jesus' Name, Amen. HAPPY WORKER'S DAY!
