• MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 6, 2025.

    DO IT IN ADVANCE.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Genesis 12:8, NLT-
There, he built another altar and dedicated it to the LORD, and he worshipped the LORD.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In Genesis 12, God told Abraham that he was going to become the father of many nations, that his descendants would own all the land, that he was going to be blessed and become a great blessing. When Abraham heard this incredible promise, he built an altar and worshipped the Lord. What’s interesting is that the promise hadn’t come to pass. He wasn’t a father, and his wife, Sarah, was barren. He didn’t own any land. Yet he built an altar simply to thank God for what He promised. This is showing us a principle. Don’t wait for the promise to come to pass. Thank God in advance for what He said He would do for you. “God, You said my children will be mighty in the land.” Your child might be running with the wrong crowd, but build your altar now. Thank God before you see the promise. That’s what faith is all about. When God sees your altar, when He hears you thanking Him, praising Him, declaring His goodness, that’s when doors will open, healing will come, and favour is released.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that my faith and trust are anchored to You and the promises in Your Word. Thank You that I don’t have to be moved by the tests and troubles I face because I am fully persuaded You will do what You promised. I declare that my hope is in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY AUGUST 9, 2025.

    PLANNED LONG AGO.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Jeremiah 29:11, KJV-
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

    TODAY’S WORD:
In life, there are times when it looks as though our opponents—the sickness, the depression, the financial loss—are getting the best of us. It’s easy to get discouraged. You can go through life fighting everything that doesn’t go your way, being worried, negative, and upset. Or you can stay in peace, knowing that God is directing your steps, even the detours and the dead ends. You have to remind yourself that the end has been set by God. When it feels as though you’re far behind, outnumbered, outsized, and outclassed, instead of being discouraged, have a new perspective. It’s not the end. The person who betrayed you didn’t stop God’s plan. The setback didn’t change His ending. The negatives in your life don’t have that kind of power. It just means you’re about to see a major comeback. At any moment things are going to shift in your favour. A good break, a healing, a promotion, or a restoration is coming. God has the final say. He has already established the end and will fulfil His purpose.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that in a very insecure world that I can rest in the security of knowing that my end has been set. Thank You for Your plans for my life, plans that are full of hope and an abundant future. I believe that You make everything work out at the right time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY AUGUST 2, 2025.

    SUCH AN AMAZING PLAN.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Ephesians 1:11, ESV-
In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.

    TODAY’S WORD:
I hope that you know how much your life matters today, how important you are to God. He thought you were so valuable that He took time to plan all of your days before you were born. You have a divine assignment. When the Scripture says that “He’s working all things according to the counsel of His will,” that means He has the final say. He says His plans for you are for good. He says He will do exceeding abundantly above all you can imagine. Now keep Him in first place. Keep honouring Him and doing the right thing when it’s hard. Don’t try to figure everything out. He’s doing things that you may not understand right now. It might not make sense in the moment, but if you stay in faith, you’ll see what God is up to. If you have to know everything, you’re going to be frustrated. Leave it in His hands. “God, I don’t understand what You’re doing, but I trust You. I know You’re in control. I know that You’re moving me toward my purpose for being here.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for Your promise that You will work out Your plans for my life according to Your will. Thank You that I can stay in peace knowing that You are working behind the scenes and directing the outcomes. Help me to be patient and know that You are bringing me into my purpose. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY MAY 31, 2025.

    NO MORE FOREVER.

    TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
    Exodus 14:13, NKJV-
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
After Pharaoh finally let the two million Israelites slaves leave for the Promised Land, he soon changed his mind and came chasing after them. The Israelites reached a dead end at the Red Sea, but just because you run out of options doesn’t mean God has run out of options. God parted the water, and the Israelites went through on dry ground. When the enemy came chasing after them, they were all drowned. The Israelites saw those enemies no more. You may have situations that look as though they’ll never change. God is saying to you what He said to them. You’re about to see the depression no more. You’re about to see that struggle in your finances no more. God is about to release you into abundance. You might as well have a going-away party for the sickness that’s been hindering you. God is doing a new thing. Now, keep this tenacity in your spirit. Be more stubborn in your faith than anything stubborn that’s trying to stop you. You are well able to outlast what’s trying to stop you.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that You have broken the chain of any negative thing from my past that’s trying to hold me back. Thank You that You have so defeated the problem that I’m not even going to see it anymore. I’m going to start living like I am free and experience everything You have for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • "The Kindness We Forget at Work."

When we talk about “professionalism,” we often focus on:

    *Meeting deadlines.

    *Delivering results.

    *Maintaining standards.

But sometimes, simple kindness gets lost in the hustle.

A smile. A "thank you." A word of encouragement.

These small acts can change someone's whole week.

Kindness is not extra — it’s essential.

In competitive, stressful environments, kindness is not weakness — it’s strength in action.

    Let’s Discuss:

-Have you ever been deeply impacted by a small act of kindness at work?

-What small kind gesture can YOU offer a colleague this week?

    - Is kindness part of your company's culture — or just an afterthought?

Let’s inspire a wave of workplace kindness!

  • MORNING TEA

    SATURDAY FEBRUARY 15, 2025.

    EXTRAORDINARY SEED.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Galatians 6:7, NKJV
Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

    TODAY’S WORD:
Every time you’re obedient to what God says, you’re sowing a seed. When it’s difficult, when you don’t understand it, when you’re uncomfortable, but you do it any way, you’re sowing an extraordinary seed. You’re going to reap an extraordinary harvest. When He asks you to walk away from a friend who’s pulling you down or to give up a bad habit that’s ruining your health, He’s not trying to take something from you. He’s trying to get something better to you. When He asks you to forgive someone who hurt you, He’ll give you beauty for ashes and make you whole. When He shows you to take a step of faith when you don’t feel qualified, He’ll give you a new beginning. Don’t try to figure it out, don’t overanalyze it, just do what you know God’s asking you to do. The obedience activates God’s power. If you trust Him and do what you know you need to do, you’ll reap a new level of your destiny. When you sow that extraordinary seed, you’re going to see God’s favour in extraordinary ways.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You for speaking through Your Word and for giving me an inner ear to know right from wrong and what the best path is. Help me to be sensitive to Your still small voice, to hear it with clarity, and to be quick to obey. I believe that I will reap an extraordinary harvest when I obey. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • The Silent Resignation: Are Your Employees Working or Just Waiting?

Not every resignation comes with a letter—some employees check out mentally long before they walk out physically.

When I got a new job years back—I was so excited! But that enthusiasm *vanished* within my first week. Why? I was suddenly told I had to work Saturdays and Sundays without extra pay

How do you dubiously leave out such a clause **all through recruitment**, let someone resign from their previous job, only to drop the bomb later? It felt like a **trap**, and it stole the joy of my new job. I endured, stayed engaged, but my mental perception changed. The fulfillment of being employed faded—until I found another job.

Employers, how do you ensure transparency to avoid disengagement?
Employees, what has ever made you mentally check out of a job?

    Today's Debate:
What’s the real cause of silent resignations—bad leadership, lack of growth, poor pay, or something else? Let’s discuss it!

  • EVENING TEA

    SATURDAY FEBRUARY 1, 2025.

    HAPPY NEW MONTH.

    WINDOWS OF GRACE.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Numbers 14:40–42, NLT
“Let’s go,” they said. “We realize that we have sinned, but now we are ready to enter the land the LORD has promised us.” But Moses said, “Why are you now disobeying the LORD’s orders to return to the wilderness? It won’t work. Do not go up into the land now. You will only be crushed by your enemies.”

    TODAY’S WORD:
God had given the Israelites an incredible window of grace to go into the Promised Land, the power to overcome and the strength to defeat the opposition. He promised them victory, but they refused when they saw the giants and fortified cities and turned back into the wilderness. They didn’t realize that window of grace had closed and that if they tried to do it on their own, they would be crushed. This is why it’s so important to not put off what you know God is telling you to do. God won’t give you the opportunity and not give you the grace to do it. When you feel that urging, that knowing, whether it’s to break a bad habit or step into something that feels over your head, if you keep delaying, the window is eventually going to close. That moment is not going to be there forever. You may feel afraid. Your mind may tell you all the reasons it’s not going to work out. Don’t do like the Israelites. Put your shoulders back, hold your head up high, and step into it.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that in the routine of my ordinary days, You open up windows of grace that can change everything. Thank You that You’re orchestrating moments when You empower me to come up higher. I declare that I will step into it and receive the promise. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  • AFTERNOON TEA

    SATURDAY JANUARY 25, 2025.

    THE SUNDAY MORNING BOX.

    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:
    Psalm 63:1-
You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.

    TODAY’S WORD -
David is thought to have written Psalm 63 in the isolation of the wilderness during the difficult years when King Saul was trying to kill him. He used that time to seek God, to draw close to God with his whole being. One thing about being isolated is that not having a lot of people to give your attention to, you can turn your attention toward your Heavenly Father. It’s an opportunity to learn to talk to Him and get to know Him. It’s a time to develop a deeper relationship where He’s not just a Sunday morning God, but all through the day, in your thoughts, you talk to God as you’d talk to a friend. God will be as involved in your life as much as you want Him to be. If you keep Him in a Sunday morning box, He’ll stay there. But He wants to be so much more than that. Sometimes, with all the busyness of life, with all the people and the activities, we don’t make time for God. That’s a mistake. Make sure you keep Him first place.

    PRAYER FOR TODAY:
Father, thank You that I can seek You with my whole heart, knowing that I will surely find You. Thank You that I can live my life passionately, with a desire to go deeper with You. I declare that You are far more to me than a Sunday morning God. You are my God every moment of the day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
